Jones' four-mallet style gives the vibraharp a noticeably lush layered tone, whether he's lilting through the melody or adding crisp harmonies. Buzzelli, who plays a seven-string guitar, shifts easily from his swift solo runs to flowing chord progressions, providing perfect support for Jones. Halsey's imaginative bass lines, deft and insightful, offer a rhythmic undercurrent that holds everything firmly together.
The goal Jones said, "was for these long time colleagues to create music that is 'happy', often exciting, and always listenable." They achieve these goals and more, providing music that is delightful, rewarding, and that holds up to repeated listenings.
